Hello! My name is Amelia Dubs and I am a sophomore here at North Central College. I grew up in a family that really valued film so I have been exposed to all different kinds of movies from a young age. My favorite genres are comedies, psychological thrillers, horror, animations, and dramas. Some of my favorite movies are Forrest Gump, Silence of the Lambs, The Conjuring, Tangled, Good Will Hunting, Little Women, Up, and The Shining. I am taking this class because it seems to be an interesting gen-ed class and I want to broaden my horizons when it comes to film because I fall into the habit of watching the same movies over and over again.
